The present addresses the issue of intrauterine communication as a way of prenatal stimulation that guarantees a better quality of mother-child life from the design of a subject of the curriculum of the Degree in Education Logopedia, Logoprophylaxis for pregnant women, and from the guiding role of this professional and his actions in the community context. This content is not addressed in the subjects of the base curriculum and is an important issue based on the new approaches of contemporary speech therapy and the rise of neurosciences. The prenatal period is one of the constructive stages of human life and the anatomophysiological conditions of the baby have been demonstrated to respond to stimuli. There is a systematization of contemporary references of the subject as well as a foundation from the neurosciences and related sciences of the potential of the intrauterine period for neurodevelopment. The most commonly used techniques are illustrated and research results are shown.
