The present paper centers its study in the importance that is granted to the care and preservation of the artistic historical and cultural traditions that it reflects the local musical repertoire in its contribution to the cultural identity to form in the individual an appreciation personalized from the school curriculum, in front of the current challenges that face the towns for the conservation of the local and national identities.
