Research is a central process of the university, it is aimed at expanding theoretical knowledge and solving practical problems. The doctoral programs of the Cuban universities structure the process of doctoral training in a system that assumes scientific research as a center. The evaluation of an investigation is a process that uses different scientific methods to provide information on the results achieved in its object of study, based on certain indicators; You can't do science without evaluating it. For the evaluation of the social impact, the following are considered dimensions: the contribution of the scientific results of the research and the evaluation of the educational research, which are supported by several criteria, which respond to certain indicators. The objective of this article is to propose the dimensions for the evaluation of the social impact of educational research in the Doctoral Program in Educational Sciences.
