The digital publishing group of the University of Sancti Spíritus (UNISS) has an organized and computerized work flow through process management. All the processes and subprocesses that are developed in it are based on satisfying the demands of professionals and researchers from the territory and the institution itself. In this sense, it offers the university community a series of services regarding journals, editorial projects, as well as methodological advice, which as a strategy of publications of the UNISS allow visibility of the scientific results of researchers. For this reason, this article focuses on the improvement of editorial management and proposes as an objective: to analyze the impact of the services of the digital publishing group in the professional university community. For this, several potentialities and weaknesses of the editorial group were diagnosed, to then be able to obtain tangible results of the impact of these services in order to improve the editorial process.
