The present study is an investigation work with the objective of characterizing the written final exam of Community Medicine II of the 2nd. Year of the career, in the faculty of Medicine of Cabinda, Angola in the year 2019. The methodology used was Diaz P to analyze the quality of the written exam that allowed its characterization. The analysis of the results of quality indicators, such as; Alfa of Cronbach, index of difficulty and coefficient of correlation biserial point. It was analyzed the correspondence between the time of the declared contents in the program and their exploration in the instrument. In the written final exam stands out that it is a mixed exam, with different question designs, and prevalence in the rehearsal type of short answer; with a medium difficulty, excellent discriminative power in 71,4% of students of high and low output, with good reliability in the internal consistency, there is not any correspondence between the content time of the program and its exploration in the instrument. The methodological triangulation allowed to infer that it was related with the design of the questions.
