This article refers to experiences in the application of some of the curricular strategies based on working with the text as a transversal axis of the curriculum in the Linguistic and Literary Studies Discipline of the Degree in Primary Education. It gives considerations about the essence of these strategies, the need for their completion, some concrete examples of the effectiveness of their application through learning tasks based on the text for the quality of the teaching-learning process.
