Abstract
GUAMAN GOMEZ, Verónica Jacqueline; ESPINOZA FREIRE, Eudaldo Enrique and HERRERA MARTINEZ, Lázara. Psychological foundations of pedagogical activity. Conrado [online]. 2020, vol.16, n.73, pp.303-311. Epub Apr 02, 2020. ISSN 2519-7320.
The present literature review study has the purpose of analyzing the psychological foundations of pedagogical activity, with emphasis on the research dimension. The methodological strategy was systematized through exegetical, hermeneutical, content analysis and documentary review methods. Among the main results is that research occupies an important place in the pedagogical activity, which has its psychological foundation, from the socio-constructivist perspective, in educational models in which the student is an active subject. It also concludes that regardless of the humanistic epistemic framework that sustains the Ecuadorian education system, this tends to be a traditional system.
Keywords : Psychological foundations; teacher training; pedagogical activity; learning theories.
