Abstract

The objective of this research work is to determine the relationship between teaching performance and research skills of students from two Peruvian public universities. Research of quantitative approach, type, Descriptive, whose design is Non-experimental, correlational, using the hypothetical-deductive method. Work carried out in students of the VIII academic cycle who are taking the research course, in a sample intentionally in a census, two questionnaires were prepared for data collection, the one corresponding to teaching performance, 23 items were used, while for the investigative skills 43 items were applied, in both instruments the Likert scale was applied in five response alternatives. the instruments validity and reliability process, as well as the data treatment were processed with the SPSS V-25 statistical package. From the conclusions we can indicate that there is a positive and moderate relationship) between the variables of study.
