The constant development of the teaching-learning process of Higher Education implies making the most adjusted decisions about the knowledge of the subject national security, belonging to the discipline preparation for defense, which is taught in all the courses of the study plan, This subject contains a valuable, epistemic and formative value, consistent with the learning needs of higher education students, in addition to updating and raising the quality of the future professional and preparing it to analyze and better political, social and environmental processes in Cuban and Cienfuegos territory.
