Currently, there are several studies that demonstrate with reliability the importance of functional assessment in the older adult. Aging decreases physical patterns that affect the long-term need for independence with autonomy in activities of daily living, causing high costs for public health. The aim of this article is to socialize the comparison of the results of anthropometric variables and functional with the aging process. The methodology used was carried out by means of a cross-sectional observational study using functional assessment of 59 women with more than 60 years of age using testing protocols of importance as a tool to understand the social changes in the chronology of the age and its evolution as they are getting older.
