This article shows how through the geographical location of the routes of European expeditionary and the study of the geographical coordinates visited in their different trips, spatial thinking is developed in students of the seventh grade of Colombian Secondary Education. Through a classroom situation, both types of knowledge are linked: geometric and geographic, based on the development of mathematical skills.
