ZAPATA ANCAJIMA, Juan Carlos. Research in the classroom as a strategy for change in educational institutions. Conrado [online]. 2020, vol.16, n.76, pp.95-100. Epub 02-Oct-2020. ISSN 2519-7320.
The research seeks to demonstrate that the development of research activity by teachers contributes to strengthening their capacities and attitudes to improve their educational practice in the classroom, corroborating that research in the classroom is a viable strategy to promote the improvement of education. The research was conducted from the qualitative methodological perspective, specifically it is a Participatory Research-Action that involved five teaching teams from rural educational institutions in the province of Ayabaca-Piura (Peru), who were observed and monitored in their classrooms, to corroborate the effectiveness of the activities and research experiences that they applied from their teaching work. The result of the investigation is systematized in four sections. First, the strengths and weaknesses of educational institutions are identified and systematized to promote the development of research capacity in teachers; second, it specifies the skills and attitudes that teachers must develop and practice for the effective development of the research activity; third, a research model is formulated to improve the teaching practice of teachers; fourth, an organizational and strategic model is proposed for the positioning of research in the management of educational institutions.
