The ethical use of Information Technology and Communications (ICT), is a subject for debate between academics and scientists, from the importance that these tools have gained in today's society and the legal, moral and ethical problems that in sometimes they bring their employment. Plagiarism, one of the most frequent forms of misuse of information, has been favored by the impetuous development of ICT. It is a challenge for Higher Education in the world, to minimize this inappropriate behavior. From an exploratory study developed at the University of Cienfuegos - which is part of a greater purpose - it is reflected in the communication about this harmful phenomenon.
