The university education values and encourages the use of the Tics as necessary tools for the education, promotion, education of the tourist product in Ibarra. In 2016 Ecuador was recognized by the World Travel Awards for its tourist quality, due to the mega diversity in its four natural regions rich in flora and fauna concentrating the greatest biodiversity per square kilometer in the world, as well as its historical and gastronomic attractions, cultural diversity and traditions, so it is imperative to make it known. The present study seeks to use mobile technology and QR codes for the presentation of data of a traditional product and its commercialization; the qualitative methodology has been used to carry out the documentary review of tourism and QR codes, followed by an action research to determine the demand of the product and to improve the marketing strategies; and a quantitative methodology to define in what way the users prefer to visualize information; the results demonstrate that the majority of consumers see attractions to the digital media through the cell phone, motivating the user to a more significant learning of the product.
