The Sars-Cov-2 virus caused the Covid-19 disease at the end of 2020. At the beginning of this century this has been one of the news that has most affected humanity, from a social and psychological point of view, due to the material and life loss that it has caused, in addition to its collateral effects. To counteract these impacts, knowledge, various fields of human activity are activated and new mitigation strategies are added and created. One of the areas that has contributed the most during the quarantine period is sports culture, sports and especially its teaching methods. The purpose of this work is to systematize a set of scientific elements related to sports activities in the Covid-19 era, with a focus on the use of online environments and technologies. It is intended to analyze the main positions of the author in order to obtain standards on the potential of virtual physical education to face the impact of the disease. Along with this process in stages, a set of suggestions will be added to improve the work of physical education teachers through virtual environments and technologies.
