Abstract

The work that is presented refers to a didactic strategy for teachers and students of the twelfth grade of the IPU "Manuel Prieto Labrada" of the Cumanayagua municipality. It was developed through stages and phases, for which two scientific methods of the mathematical theoretical, empirical and statistical level were used that made it possible to diagnose the training and preparation needs of students in the Mathematics subject. The information was obtained during five years, from the direct and indirect protagonists who participated in said, key elements to execute the impact evaluation. Where it was evidenced, with the research carried out, that the strategy contributed to strengthen the students' mathematical skills and encourage collaborative work, to find alternatives to improve the way to achieve practical results from the theory, in correspondence with the needs in their training. The objective of the didactic proposal was to contribute to the formation and preparation of Mathematical knowledge and skills to transform the educational reality, in the conditions of current Pre-University Education.
