The present work was carried out with the objective of analyzing how to work the environmental dimension in the Engineering in Management Management career from the Management Development subject at the Metropolitan University of Ecuador. For this, normative documents were studied: international, national and of the educational institution. As a result, the authors reflect on the need to take advantage of all the educational potentialities offered by the curriculum, the university environment and extracurricular activities in order to favor in students modes of action that make it possible to sustainably transform the context in which they live once they graduate.
