El objetivo de la investigación es realizar un diagnóstico de la participación de los padres en la educación de los hijos durante la emergencia sanitaria generada por la COVID 19, donde se vieron forzados a permanecer en casa junto a sus hijos, compartiendo la mayor parte del proceso educativo, y adaptándose a una nueva modalidad de estudios virtuales con el uso de herramientas y recursos tecnológicos. La investigación presenta un enfoque cuali-cuantitativo, de nivel descriptivo por medio de encuestas a padres de familia, mediante la aplicación de Google Drive, la cual permitió analizar mediante datos estadísticos la implicación de la educación de sus hijos, en la cual la mayoría de los padres de familia no estaban preparados para este reto.

The objective of the research is to diagnose parental involvement in the education of children during the health emergency generated by COVID 19, where they were forced to stay at home with their children, sharing most of the educational process, and adapting to a new modality of virtual studies with the use of technological tools and resources. The research presents a qualitative-quantitative, descriptive approach through surveys of parents, through the Google Drive application, which allowed to analyze by statistical data the involvement of the education of their children, in which most parents were not prepared for this challenge.
