For organizations today, employee capabilities, information technology systems and organizational culture continue to be as valuable as tangible assets. Unlike financial and tangible assets, what is really difficult for competitors to imitate are intangibles, a source of sustainable competitive advantage. This research is the result of a case study that takes as a reference a Peruvian higher education institution. The general objective is to determine the relationship between intangible assets and the institutional management of the teaching staff of the Faculty of Education of the Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal. For this purpose, a quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional (transactional) and correlational research design is developed. Data collection techniques, numerical measurement and statistical analysis were used. Stratified probability sampling was used. Two questionnaires were developed and the results obtained from their application were processed in SPPS statistical software.
