This article reflects the result of the analysis, as a result of research, of the highest scoring requirements in the set of requirements for passing the Master's Final Project of the Master's Degree in Compulsory Secondary Teaching and Baccalaureate, Professional Training and Language Teaching, such as capacity and professional maturity, on the one hand, and the capacity for analysis and reflection, on the other. Starting from a general reflection of a very diverse state of the art at the European level, and very limited at the Spanish legal-state level, the case of a Spanish university is studied, within a subject of fundamental social relevance such as teacher training in Secondary education. From a critical and analytical perspective, and at all times also taking into account the structural question of the studies, using original sources, the instruction of future teaching professionals is studied.
