Aims to design a system of activities for this student of the José Gregorio Martínez Polytechnic in Cienfuegos, to delve into self-employment, since at present it constitutes a way of labor insertion. The methods used are theoretical and empirical (observation, surveys, interviews, SPSS statistical method. The latter contribute to demonstrate the insufficiencies in this knowledge system in the mentioned. As a result, the need to introduce such knowledge in the time dedicated to pre-professional practices is obtained, in order to acquire skills in accounting or other documents related to this type of employment. The proposed may be generalized to other centers in the country where this teaching is provided. This research is part of the research project located in the National Program of Local and Community Development of the University of Cienfuegos.
