In Ecuador there is a high prevalence and incidence of different oral pathologies, this scenario is similar to many in other countries in America. These diseases are a problem for public health, due to the high cost of control and their management, that is why it is necessary to carry out preventive activities to reverse the current situation. Although measures have been taken by the government, they have not been successful, nor have they been given the necessary follow-up to reduce its incidence. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the causes that indicate the lack of education and prevention of health and oral hygiene at an early age. So, if an analysis of the fundamental causes is carried out, a protocol can be developed to attend, prevent and educate on oral health and hygiene at an early age. By carrying out promotional campaigns and activities that directly and to a greater extent involve children in educational centers, it will result in an improvement and reduction of oral diseases in a short time, and an awareness of hygiene and prevention will be built in them. of oral diseases.
