This article presents partial results of a research that was aimed at solving problems related to insufficiencies in the interconnectedness of novice school principals of the System of Work with the State and Government Directives and their Reserves, which affects their stability in the position and limits the development of their professional managerial competences. The general objective of the research was the elaboration of a management model for the organizational socialization of novice school principals, from this work system. The conceptual, guiding and referential foundations that constitute the guiding subsystem of the modeled system, which assures its informational relevance, are presented, in which the application of the modeling and functional structural systemic methods was fundamental. These foundations are erected in a theoretical-methodological framework adjusted to the Cuban context and supported by international experience, from which guidelines are offered to manage organizational socialization and a new vision of induction is proposed that goes beyond its traditional understanding linked almost exclusively to training, and recognizes it as a process-framework for such socialization in which the different processes that integrate the work system with the directives must converge, in an integrated manner.
