This article presented a proposal of procedures aimed at the use of logical schemes in the Cuban History class, which were structured from three fundamental actions such as: study of the Cuban History program, selection of contents that allow the use of the logical schemes and planning of teaching activities. The relationship between the empirical and the theoretical characterized the qualitative methodology used, based on the use of different methods and techniques that demonstrated in educational practice that the use with logical schemes is not mastered or carried out correctly, that it is not conceived as a means of teaching, the passive role of the student in the class, the insufficient preparation of the students to use them, as well as the development of reflexive logical thinking skills in the students, depending on whether they can operate with the constitutive elements of the logical schemas. The proposal presented a theoretical foundation of the problem dealt with; as well as a detailed description of the proposed actions. In addition to a working algorithm model for teachers to use logical schemes as teaching aids in the Cuban History class in its different variants.
