Telework as a modality of employment has increased its presence in Latin American countries and in Ecuador, because of the pandemic of Covid-19, although the legality that supports it is still the subject of debate about its particularities. It is of vital importance that jurists have an adequate knowledge of the subject, so it is relevant to deal with their training process. The present investigation had for purpose to diagnose the perception about the legislative elements of telework. The selected population were the students of the sixth cycle of the faculty of law of the Universidad Regional Autonoma De Los Andes, Ecuador. For this purpose, were used techniques and statistical instruments that allowed to conclude that there is ignorance on the part of students and teachers surveyed with respect to the subject. The causes that provoke this situation were analyzed and actions were proposed to attenuate them.
