Early psychosis is the loss of contact with reality in people under 18 years of age. The main therapeutic approach is the use of drugs, being the psychotherapeutic treatment fundamental in the management of symptoms and cognitive restructuring. A systematic review was conducted using the PRISMA method, in the Scopus, Web of Science and Pubmed databases; review articles and randomized controlled trials were included. The psychotherapeutic interventions with greater efficacy are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with benefit in the modification of maladaptive behaviors and cognitive distortions, Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy in the regulation of executive functions and Systemic Family Interventions to improve psychosocial skills. It is emphasized that the psychotherapeutic process at an early age shows better results due to the neuroplasticity of the patient. Most of the psychotherapeutic interventions work on the neurological deficit, of all the approaches reviewed, in the present work, show that the most effective is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapies since they focus on working on cognitive impairment. Cognition is an important predictor for coexistence in society, therefore, it is significant to use psychotherapeutic interventions that show a decrease in symptoms and train them in social insertion.
