Conflict is a substantial part of human relations from the presence of the human being in society, through all forms of social and legal political organization, such as the gens, horde, tribe, federation of tribes, nation, state or any other future form. In Ecuador, the jurisprudence in relation to medical liability processes is carried out in most cases through criminal proceedings. However, the lack of knowledge about mediation as an alternative method of conflict resolution in certain issues of medical responsibility makes it essential to structure the objective of this article that is consolidated as analyzing health mediation in Ecuador as an alternative mechanism for the resolution of disputes. conflicts derived from health care. The methodology used is qualitative, based on documentary analysis, being a narrative descriptive study.
