CAJAS BRAVO, Tomasa Verónica; SILVA INFANTES, Manuel y DAVILA MORAN, Roberto Carlos. Teacher perception on the use of technology in higher education. Conrado [online]. 2023, vol.19, n.90, pp. 326-335. Epub 27-Feb-2023. ISSN 1990-8644.
The general objective was to determine the level of teacher perception about the use of technology in higher education. The specific objectives were: to determine the level of teacher perception of collaboration and networking in the use of technologies, to determine the level of teacher perception of the social aspects of the use of technologies, to determine the level of teacher perception of technical aspects of the use of technologies and determine the level of teacher perception of professional development in the use of technologies. The study had a quantitative approach, was of a basic type, non-experimental design and descriptive level. The population was 235 research teachers from a private university in Metropolitan Lima. From this population, a probabilistic sample of 140 teachers was selected. The questionnaire for data collection had 25 questions referring to the variable and its dimensions, where each question had four response options. The validity was carried out through the judgment of three experts and the reliability was 0.845 calculated with the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. It is concluded that the teachers' perception of the use of technologies in higher education has a regular level, demonstrating that they handle these tools in an acceptable way, in the context of teaching.
