Based on the Agenda 2030 for the Sustainable Development and the theoretical assessments of remarkable authors who have studied the Physical Recreation, a research process has been taken on, which gives answer to a qualitative approach in its variant research-Action-Participative, combining qualitative and quantitative methods which has as objective to characterize the aspects associated to the educative orientation of the Physical Education at the elementary level of Ballet and Music in the Provincial Center for the Artistic Education of Villa Clara (Cuba). In order to accomplish such purpose, research workshops were created aimed to a group of work known as ¨discussion group¨, which is very closely bound together to the physical-recreational processes in such institution. The results found in the workshops allow us to establish characteristics and methodological considerations with respect to the educative orientation of the Physical Recreation that acquires signification for emphasizing its contribution with the general culture of the student-artist, the good interpersonal relationships and values formation, bound together to the environment, the diversity, the local history, and the cultural traditions, aspects that remark its socializing character which contribute with healthy life styles.
