The Council for Quality Assurance of Higher Education in the External Evaluation Model of Universities and Polytechnic Schools 2019 in the 19.2 standard of University Welfare mentions "The institution provides and disseminates the services of vocational and professional guidance, medical, dental, psychological care and / or health insurance for students". The following article aims to assess the work of the Student Welfare Unit during the year 2022. This Unit is responsible for implementing policies, programs and projects for the prevention and emergent care of victims of situations of violence, prevention of use of drugs, alcoholic beverages, cigarettes and tobacco derivatives, vocational guidance, monitoring of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The attentions are carried out in virtual and face-to-face mode, the students request attention for several reasons, such as: psychological accompaniment, general information, scholarships and financial aid, special educational needs, crisis interventions, justification of absences or delays, vocational guidance, conflict mediation and intervention in situations of violence and discrimination.
