The secondary sector of the economy owes its importance to the fulfillment of the needs of the human being, since its actions allow supplying the consumption and comfort of the population, but not for this reason we must not forget the impacts that this causes to the environment. In the Municipal slaughterhouse of the Buena Fe canton, the non-existence of a wastewater treatment plant is presented, which is why the need to evaluate its processes is devoted to recognize the affectations caused by each activity carried out within the institution, where it was established. an area of ​​influence of 300 m, considering the natural and social resources affected in this environment. After recognizing the environment to be evaluated by applying a flowchart of activities, we proceeded to use a set of matrices aimed at problem analysis and the application of solutions, which are: Cause and Effect Matrix, Leopold Matrix, Compliance and Non-Compliance Matrix and the Environmental Management Plan.
