Según la Ley Orgánica de Educación Superior (LOES) y el Reglamento del Régimen Académico (RRA), en Ecuador, se establece la posibilidad de la formación de tecnólogos universitarios, sin embargo, para que las carreras sean aprobadas por el Ministerio de Educación Superior (MES), es necesario argumentar cada oferta académica. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo justificar la creación de la carrera Tecnología Superior Universitaria en Contabilidad en el Instituto Superior Universitario Bolivariano, para ello se tiene en cuenta que los egresados solucionen los problemas de su entorno, desde una perspectiva interdisciplinaria, unido a la utilización de la innovación para la mejora continua de los procesos productivos o de los servicios donde esté involucrado. El resultado obtenido explica la complejidad sistémica como fundamento epistemológico del diseño curricular de la carrera, considerando la perspectiva transdisciplinaria y la integración de saberes. Su impacto queda demostrado en la aprobación de la carrera por el MES. El estudio utiliza una metodología cualitativa.

According to the Organic Law of Higher Education (LOES) and the Regulation of the Academic Regime (RRA), in Ecuador, the possibility of training university technologists is established, however, for the careers to be approved by the Ministry of Higher Education (MES), it is necessary to argue each academic offer. The objective of this research is to justify the creation of the Higher University Technology in Accounting career at the Bolivarian Higher University Institute, for which it is taken into account that the graduates solve the problems of their environment, from an interdisciplinary perspective, together with the use of innovation for the continuous improvement of production processes or services where it is involved. The result obtained explains the systemic complexity as the epistemological foundation of the curricular design of the career, considering the transdisciplinary perspective and the integration of knowledge. Its impact is demonstrated in the approval of the race by the MES. The study uses a qualitative methodology.
