Para la formación de los maestros de la educación infantil de nivel medio superior es importante la presencia en el currículo de los conocimientos de los fundamentos biológicos de la educación. Para ello es necesario planificar un proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje (PEA) eficaz que facilite la adquisición de estos por parte de los maestros en formación. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo caracterizar el estado actual del PEA de los fundamentos biológicos de la educación necesarios para la formación de los maestros de la Educación infantil del nivel medio superior. Con este fin, se utilizaron métodos e instrumentos de corte teórico como el analítico-sintético, el análisis documental, empíricos como la consulta a especialistas y matemáticos como el análisis porcentual. Como resultado investigativo se obtuvo una caracterización del estado inicial del PEA de los fundamentos biológicos de la educación para la formación del maestro de educación infantil del nivel medio superior descrita en las principales potencialidades y debilidades del proceso. La capacidad de proteger la salud propia y la de los demás es una cualidad que debe ser desarrollada en todos los niveles de formación docente para ello se debe garantizar un PEA acorde con la complejidad de la materia y la necesidad de que los maestros eleven su nivel científico y conduzcan el proceso pedagógico con un carácter preventivo, científico y estimulador del desarrollo.

For the training of teachers of early childhood education at the upper secondary level, the presence in the curriculum of knowledge of the biological foundations of education is important. For this, it is necessary to plan an effective teaching-learning process (PEA) that facilitates the acquisition of these by teachers in training. This research aims to characterize the current state of the PEA of the biological foundations of education necessary for the training of teachers of Early Childhood Education at the upper secondary level. To this end, theoretical methods and instruments such as analytical-synthetic, documentary analysis, empirical such as consulting specialists and mathematicians such as percentage analysis were used. As an investigative result, a characterization of the initial state of the PEA of the biological foundations of education for the training of the early childhood education teacher of the upper secondary level described in the main potentialities and weaknesses of the process was obtained. The ability to protect one's own health and that of others is a quality that must be developed at all levels of teacher training. For this, a PEA must be guaranteed in accordance with the complexity of the subject and the need for teachers to raise their level. scientific and lead the pedagogical process with a preventive, scientific and stimulating character of development.
