Learning a language is a complex process. For some people this goes easily, however, others do not perform well and their learning finds several difficulties. This research was carried out in a second-year group of Agronomy made up of 25 students, with the aim of knowing the main problems that they present in learning English as a foreign language, their root causes, as well as the possible solutions and strategies to solve them. After the application of several instruments, it was determined that the main difficulties lay in oral ability, this is the fundamental problem of this research. To solve this situation, different techniques, exercises, didactic games, the new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) were used. Which resulted in increased interest and motivation of the students, better results in learning and the development of oral expression in the group.
