The evaluation of the integral development of the child constitutes a problem that requires scientific solutions, for this purpose, the National Direction of Early Childhood Education has declared it as one of the lines of improvement: “Evaluation as an essential factor in education and development of childhood from 0 to 6 years”. On the other hand, one of the main changes that arise in the framework of the III Improvement of the Cuban educational system, specifically in the early childhood curriculum, consists of a new structural organization of objectives and contents, in Education and Development Dimensions that revolutionizes the actions of educational agents, considering the wide possibilities that children have in these ages. Due to this, this educational level demands evaluative processes where the child is in the center of his own development and actively participates in it. Among the dimensions that are proposed is a personal-social that is located in the center of the curriculum and at the same time converges in each of the other dimensions, as a phenomenon in which they are integrated. The evaluation is a didactic component of the educational process that requires a different conception in light of these new transformations, it is important to see it as a dialectical process, dialogue and understanding between evaluators and evaluated, it is important to reveal the significance of the evaluation of the integral development of children from early childhood, from the personal-social.
