This article presents the main results of the research carried out to obtain the master's degree in Didactics of Spanish and Literature after two years of study. It was essential to refer to a synthesis of the theoretical and methodological criteria that currently serve as the basis for the study of the construction of expository texts. Different methods of the theoretical, empirical and statistical-mathematical level were applied that also allowed to characterize the group of first-year students of the Spanish School of Panamá University, where the proposal was applied. Finally, the system of activities for the efficient construction of the expository text is presented.
