This work addresses relevant theoretical references related to obtaining a methodological strategy that offers a response to the state of need to improve the management of the performance evaluation process of university teachers, which in this case is contextualized in the Agrarian University of Havana. This proposal should favor the individual development of teachers and the achievement of organizational objectives. It emphasizes the definition of the scientific result, as well as its components and relationships. Its main axes are described: one theoretical - conceptual and the other operational. The selected scientific pathway will contribute to raising the efficiency, efficacy and effectiveness of human resource management in Cuban Higher Education.
