The article deals with the importance of the steps taken by the School of Education in Foreign Languages at Enrique José Varona Pedagogical University in order to carry out the continuity of the permanent professional formation English teacher in Boyeros and Cerro Municipalities in Havana City. Beginning from the identification of the English teachers´ professional needs, some impact results related to the development of their educational and learning process in the places where they are working, are shown. The main objective of this article is to share some experiences and useful suggestions about how to improve the way of offering systematical attention to English teachers who work in elementary, middle and advanced educational levels. This exerts a positive influence on the teaching-learning process as a whole.
