This article addresses the need for teacher training in the Republic of Angola at the present time, placing special emphasis on Primary Education teachers. There is great interest by the government and the Ministry of Education in improving the solidity of teaching in the education system, it is a purpose of the government and the directors to train a new man who actively participates in the building of the new society, but these objective are not compatible with the current situation of teacher training in Angola, since most of those who enter the educational system who work in suburban areas of the country, have academic training, but not pedagogical, and there are also those who perform without the required preparation, without a cultural or scientific pedagogical. It therefore requires that teachers have an increasingly professional preparation to perform in different contexts of action, develop the activities and promote interactions between schoolchildren, adjusting to the peculiarities of their development. Therefore, the teacher must have a solid preparation, a general and comprehensive culture that allows him to exercise his professions efficiently.
