This article reflects on the opinion of Chinese-speaking students about the interrogative intonation of Spanish, a partial result of the diagnosis made as part of a doctoral research in progress. It was based on a survey applied to 154 Chinese students from the Hunan International University of Economic Studies, the experience of the authors (teachers of Spanish as a foreign and second language) and the results of research on the subject. The Wenjuanxin (https://www.wjx.cn) professional online survey, examination, evaluation and voting platform was used. The study corroborated the need to continue researching the teaching-learning process of interrogative intonation, since many students associate it with the search for information and are unaware of the nuances of meaning it provides. In the initial levels it is essential to consciously and systematically teach this aspect; In addition, it is necessary to continue its treatment at higher levels, so that the student learns its ascending complexity, both in the form and in the nuances of meaning it offers.
