An study of the rice harvesters explotation in the municipality of Vertientes in Camaguey province was carried out in this work. The main objective was to determine the real technical and organizable reserve and to characterize the functioning of the GRH-1.2 rice harvesters in explotation conditions. Different results were found in this work, among them we can point out: The main criteria concerning the explotation of the Vietnamese GRH-1.2 harvesters used in the production of rice. The technical and scientific foundation for the evaluation of the GRH-1.2 harvester in the country and the main problems of technical dispositions that limit, the productivity of this machine.
