With a view to determining the appropriate parameters for the irrigation scheduling in pineapple crop in Ciego de Avila province, the crop coefficients were studied under standard conditions (Kc) using the available information based on the study of pineapple evapotranspiration in the climatic and edaphic conditions of the region and also using the alternative methodology proposed by the FAO. The obtained results based on the methodology FAO differs notably of the resulting values of the experimental phase, these last ones were determined in the concrete conditions of soil and climate and based on the methods recommended for the studies of crop evapotranspiration and the reference evapotranspiration, reason why they are recommended for its employment in the pineapple irrigation scheduling.
