This research was performed at the Cooperative Production Unit "El Palmar", Yara, Granma Province, from December 2005 to January 2008. It was aimed at evaluating different farming tools during the furrow work on sweet potatoes cultivation in a fluvisol. The behavior of the quality indexes was the key factor. The furrowing fertilizing implement IIMA BALDAN 4 500 attained the best flowerbed dimensions result with high quality values, 98,3% and 100%, in relation to the agro technical demands of this cultivation stated by the Institute of Foods Tropic Research.
