Mechanization is very important for the agricultural development and organizational measures must be taken to make a better use of machinery and to increase efficiency. The aim of this research is the study of the influence of a software used and developed by IIMA for programming and controlling the agricultural machinery work. The study was carried out in a productive unit located in Güira de Melena, Havana province. For this, every planning was considered during 2007 and results showed that: many activities for different crops are planned but they can not be performed, mainly due to lack of resources, this planning is not done in the established form and it only considers the fuel. For the fuel analysis, the actual behavior of fuel consumption indexes was not considered. From a data graph analytical analysis, it was found that the error percent in manual calculation was higher compared to the use of automation system.
