The work was carried out in the Research Institute of Agricultural Engineering with the objective of enlarging the application field of the standard NC ISO 8224-1. This Cuban standard, translated faithfully from the ISO 8224-1, establishes the procedures for the test in laboratory and field of the traveller irrigation machines. The modifications are intended for the case of the machine type 1 (reel machine) about the boom with sprayers, where mentions of the same one are made, but calculations neither procedures aren’t established. The modification proposals are carried out in six epigraphs, where two outlines, a chart and two formulas are included, and in the chart 1, where variables related with the boom with sprayers are included. Finally a Cuban standard is obtained with more use possibilities because the boom with sprayers is a water distribution system very used in the country.
