Based on technical reports issued by municipal institutions of the territory of Puerto Padre in Las Tunas and the results of interviews with representatives of those very institutions and people of that town,  we propose a complete change for the old re-generalization recruitment practice freshwater in the light of current economic circumstances and developments experienced by the materials industry in general, and to adapt technological variants of relatively low costs for the same purposes as to the availability of water, such as systems desalination of sea water with the use of renewable energy at household, so widely used in regions of our planet where water shortages for human consumption imposes truly dramatic tones of existence itself. It was the development of a project that includes all these initiatives and has been accepted by government authorities in the territory and reviewed by representatives of academic and scientific institutions in our country. The implementation of this project will not solve the problems of high pollution of water sources supplying the population, but if this project is incorporated into new initiatives will be an important palliative to the serious problems currently facing the territory of great economic potential for the country.
