Resumen

The researching was made in the Loma de la Cruz´s community located in the south side of the Cobre´s community, away 14 Km from the city of Santiago de Cuba. The researching work started with the identification of the species of vegetation and fauna in the selected areas, through the sampling using the transaction methods. Later on, the physical-chemical parameters of water were analyzed in the process of power generation in the hydroelectric, according to the instructions for water supervising in the hydroelectric resorts and the identification of Cuban pattern NC 93:11:86. The results of the researching made allow the identification of 66 vegetation´s species and 36 fauna’s species providing relevant information for future projections of reforesting, reduction of environmental risk and the rational profit of natural resources. Besides, it was proved that the power generation doesn’t change the physical-chemical water’s parameters and allow its return to the environmental in its original condition, proper for the use and consummation of this precious resource in the locality.
