This work ha for objective to analyze the park of the agricultural tractors in Mexico, to present a vision of the curret status to the drawees of decisions, based on national and international data, but to modernize the data on the tractorization in the country, a serious problem of lack of data is confronted, having to appeal to elaborate estimates starting from incomplete and not very reliable information. For that when revising the literature in this respect it is used the pattern of analysis of the park of tractors of Reina & Slater, which estimate the demand of power of the existent tractors and he is discounted the power contributed by the work animals and the humans employees in the agriculture, likewise it is determined the necessary hours of work of the tractor according to the surface of the main cultivations and the total of necessary tractors is obtained less the current existence and it is divided yearly among the hours of use with that which the current lack of tractors is determined. Finally the author proposes an alternative for his increment according to the local conditions and the possible solution to this problem. The conclusions of the study on the park of tractors in Mexico are; the demand of hour’s tractor a year is of 780´562 191, 5. The park for the 2011 it is of 223 526. The lack of tractors it is of 557 036.
