The Integral Managerial Units of Base of Technical Services (UEBIST) they constitute a new organization form inside the Cuban agricultural sector. These units have as mission the benefit of the mechanization services and of technical attendance to the units of production of the agricultural companies and the existent individual producers in the different municipalities of the country. However, during the process of creation of the same ones great attention was not paid to the necessity of determining the true potentialities of the same ones ahead of time to complete this new mission, factor that can constitute an obstacle for the achievement of the levels of efficiency and waited profitability. Taking like reference this problem, the present work takes as fundamental objective the analysis of the real potentialities of one of the shops selected in the Artemisa province to become Managerial Unit of integral Base of Technical Services. For the analysis, it was determined the current state of the resources of production of this shop previously, for that which the methodology was used developed by Fernández and Shkiliova in 2006 and later on he/she was carried out a prospective study where they noticed the mission, vision and the objectives, values and principles that govern this organization, as well as the internal and external factors that impact in its present acting and future. As a result of the carried out study, you concluded that in the current moments the shop study object not this the sufficiently prepared thing to lend, with the velocity and required quality, the services of technical maintenances and repairs to the park of machines and existent tractors in the municipality and that in this they impact a series of factors of internal and external type that you/they limit this mission. Keeping in mind those factors, the strategic actions and work lines were formulated for the improvement of the services to lend.
