In the work the use of the functions of property of the fuzzy logic appears in order to relate the values obtained by the diagnosis variables and the failures occurred during the on-speed operation of the motors of internal combustion of the sets of generators, and from this analysis to determine the variables that affect their values during the normal operation when the failures in the equipment arise. In the study the were used 46 types of failures happened in 22 motors and the values of the eight public variables or of diagnosis of these same equipment, obtaining that the variables temperature and pressure of the fuel are more affected during the event of a failure. In addition the analysis allowed to determine the limits of the values (preventive values) for the affected variables where with greater probability the failures can arise during the stable operation of the motors.
